Concetta K. Antico

A native of Sydney, Australia, Concetta K. Antico is a gifted professional artist and instructor who has painted with oils since childhood. Her talent has resonated throughout her long fine art career.

The uniqueness of Ms. Antico’s work reflects a divine marriage between the artist and nature. With a focus on the whole, Ms. Antico captures the essence of a subject via the inherent characteristics, movement, texture and light inherent in it in nature. Her style is one of dissolving forms floating in compositions that are edgy and surprising, exploring the limitless possibilities of surreal color hiding within. Haunted by the beauty of the Australian outback, Ms. Antico finds solace in the chaparral environment of San Diego, where she can paint outdoors, year round.

A highly successful self-represented artist, Ms. Antico’s work is present in many public and private collections across the U.S. and internationally. A respected teacher, she has taught oil painting in San Diego, through her Salon of Art Studio, for over a decade, to 1000's of students of all ages.
